Sectors which could not be read successfully are marked as “bad”. Sectors which have been read successfully are stored in the ISO file and marked as “good” in the corresponding FLG file. Regarding on how IsoPuzzle works, the readable data on the disc is stored in ISO image files which can be read with programs such as Daemon Tools or WinRar, as long as you have an ISO plugin as well. IsoPuzzle’s interface is simple enough for anyone to understand how to use the data recovery application, even if no help file is available. Regardless of what type of disc you use, CD or DVD, or the cause of the errors (scratches, wear and tear, bad burning, etc.), with IsoPuzzle your chances of recovering the missing information are higher.īefore installing this application to your computer, you need to know that IsoPuzzle only works with CDs and DVDs with 2048 bytes sectors, which means that Audio CDs, VCD and SVCD are not supported.
